After you have completed the submission steps and built the PDF, select 'New/Revised Submissions Waiting for Author Approval'. Select 'View Submission' to check the PDF, then 'Approve Submission' to send your submission to the journal.

Editors with permission can select 'History' for any submission. The status history shows each time the status term changed for the submission, while the correspondence history includes every email sent to anyone about this submission.

After submission, Authors can only make changes when the submission is sent back to them, or when the editors make a revise decision. Authors can select 'Send Email' to contact the journal about urgent changes at other times.

The comments are included in the decision letter sent via email. Before revision, the most recent decision letter is displayed as a "Decision Letter" link in EM. All past emails are listed under "History" for the submission.
