Can I make changes to my dataset after submitting or publication?

Last updated on January 07, 2025

After submitting your manuscript, your research data (as well as the rest of your submission) is unavailable to edit, until it's returned to you for revisions. At this point you'll be able to edit your dataset, along with the submission.

Once your article has been accepted, the dataset version will be fixed and immutable; this is the final approved dataset version, which your final approved article will link to. When your article is published, the dataset will be made available online; you will then be able to log in at Mendeley Data, and edit and publish subsequent versions of the dataset.
