Can I make a correction to my typeset article after I have returned my proofs?

Last updated on January 07, 2025

It isn't possible to make a correction to your article after you submitted your proofs because your article will be published. However, in case there is a critical error that must be corrected, contact us via the support channel at the bottom and request us to make the correction to your article.

The corresponding author must request late corrections. Please make sure you complete these fields when you contact us:

  • Select 'Author' from role, and select contact reason 'Proofing' then 'Late Corrections'.
  • Specify the exact correction required in the 'Your question' field.
  • Journal title
  • Article title or reference. You can find your reference code in the package you received from us containing your article's publication acknowledgement letter.

If your article doesn't seem to have had corrections applied after the expected time, please clear your cache and cookies and try downloading the PDF again.

Still have a question? We can help! When contacting us via the option at the bottom of this page, please just enter your details, and select contact reason 'Proofing'. Please be sure to provide all requested details and as much information as possible. Taking these steps will ensure your question reaches the team best placed to support you.
