Generally, Elsevier doesn't pay your return shipping costs. When you return a book, you have to pay the return shipping costs yourself. However, Elsevier does pay your return shipping costs in case the book you received has:

• Transit damage. If so, contact us within 60 days from the invoice date and also provide your invoice number.
• Manufacturing defects, for example missing chapters or pages, printing errors or imperfect binding. In this case, you can and we refund the return shipping costs, regardless of the invoice date.
