How can I return my product and get a replacement or refund?
Last updated on February 05, 2025Here's some helpful information on returning products. Please view our Returns Policy for more information, US and EMEALAAP.
First, select the type of product you purchased and your location for further details.
Type of product
Print books can be returned and replaced or refunded if purchased directly from Elsevier. We are not able to accept returns on products that were not purchased directly from Elsevier.
The book must be new, unmarked and packaged to ensure receipt is in condition suitable for resale up until 30 days past the invoice date. A print book will not be eligible for a return if any access code has been scratched off, regardless if it is redeemed or not.
Please NOTE:
If you are wanting to return an Elsevier product a Customer Service representative can provide a prepaid return label for US domestic and Canada orders.
Please contact us to request a return label. You can return the book or just simply refuse the package at the time of delivery. Once the book is received back, we will issue refund.
Elsevier will reimburse the return cost of international (non-US / CA) orders to the customer if the reason is listed below.
Damaged or wrong book delivered.
If the book was damaged in transit or the wrong book was delivered, this must be reported to Elsevier within 60 days past the invoice date. Please contact us via our webform for a replacement or a refund.
