What should I do if I received the wrong book?
Last updated on May 30, 2025If you purchased a book from Elsevier but received the wrong book, please contact us to request a replacement and UPS return label (for US purchases) for the return of the wrong book received. You are required to:
- Notify us about the wrong delivery within three months from the original invoice date.
- Request a UPS return label.
- If you return a book from any region outside of the US, please contact us first to arrange returning the book using one of the options below.
How
To request a replacement or return, please contact us through one of the contact options found at the bottom of this page and include the following information:
- Invoice number
- ISBN code / title of the book you ordered
- ISBN code / title of the book you received in error
After sending us your request we contact you within 24 - 48 hours to confirm the return arrangements.
