Which browsers work best with Editorial Manager?
Last updated on November 09, 2021
We strive to support the most recent versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox on Windows, and Apple Safari on Macintosh.
Editorial Manager functionality will often work well on earlier versions of the browsers also.
Browser recommendations
- When possible, use Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, as data suggests these browsers load Editorial Manager pages the fastest, while Opera load Editorial Manager pages slower.
- Enable JavaScript: Please note that JavaScript needs to be enabled in your browser to make full use of all Editorial Manager features.
- Enable popup windows: Your browser application may also have a setting requiring you to enable or block the launching of pop-up windows. Enable this setting for full functionality. Consult your browser's help system for instructions on allowing popup windows for selected sites.
- Do not use multiple tabs or windows: It is highly recommended that users work within Editorial Manager using a single browser and window at a time. Accessing multiple submission records via several windows or browsers simultaneously can lead to unintended functionality.
