What is the check your submission service?
Last updated on May 08, 2024What is check your submission?
Elsevier is trialing a new manuscript-checking service. The service looks for missing or incorrectly formatted items and automatically generates a report for the current revision of your manuscript. You can then review and incorporate these changes while making your revision.
What do I do if the report contains errors?
The automated service will sometimes incorrectly flag things as missing or wrong. Double check that the error is incorrect and please do not worry and proceed as normal.
To help us improve the service please use the provided feedback options on the check your service page.
How do I upload changes?
Please incorporate these changes into your revised manuscript and submit it as normal in the journal’s submission platform.
I’ve already sent my revision back to the journal!
If you have already sent your revision back for consideration, do not worry. If the missing content is pivotal for the review, the editor will be in contact.
