Can I submit corrections from multiple authors?

Last updated on August 03, 2025

The method you can use to submit corrections from multiple authors depends on how you received the corrections.

How

Choose the method how you received the corrections and follow those steps:

Proof Central

  1. Agree with your co-authors on who will start making corrections.
  2. When the first author has completed any corrections, they notify the next author via email with the URL of the article proof. Don't click 'Submit' during this process otherwise the article will no longer be editable by the next author.
  3. After making the corrections, all involved have to agree on the final version. It is recommended that one author coordinates this process.
  4. Once agreed upon the final version, one of the authors clicks 'Submit'.

After completing these steps:

  • You get a confirmation message via the system interface.
  • The corresponding author receives an acknowledgement email from Proof Central.
  • The corrections are sent to the typesetter for processing and to us for archiving purposes.

SkyLaTeX

  1. Agree with your co-authors on who will start making corrections.
  2. When the first author completes any corrections, they notify the next author via email with URL of document. Don't click 'Submit' during this process.
  3. After making all the corrections, all involved have to agree on the final version.  It is recommended that one author coordinates this process.
  4. Once agreed upon the final version, one of the authors clicks 'Submit'.

After completing these steps:

  • You get a confirmation message via the interface.
  • The corresponding author receives an acknowledgement email from SkyLaTeX.
  • The corrections are sent to the typesetter for processing and to us for archiving purposes.

  2. Download and save the PDF file of the manuscript on your computer.
  3. Annotate your proof with Adobe Reader.
  4. Send the file to the next author.
  5. The next author follows the same steps.
  6. The last author shares the file and asks for agreement from all.
