What should I do if the proof is incorrect or incomplete?

The proof is incorrect:

If the proof of your paper is incorrect (e.g. not the most recent version of your paper), please do not submit any corrections through Proof Central. Please instead contact us via the journal email address to let us know.

Please ensure that when you contact us, that you provide us with the correct file that should be used and confirm:

  • Whether the new file provided was submitted to Editorial Manager (EM).
  • Whether the new file provided is the version that the Editor accepted in EM.

If the new file provided was not accepted by the Editor in EM, please provide an additional file with comments and annotations to show the changes/ differences between the accepted version and the new file provided. Please note that your article will be on hold in production until the file provided has been approved by the Editor.

The proof is incomplete:

If the proof of your paper is incomplete, please do not submit any corrections through Proof Central. Please instead contact us via the journal email address to let us know.

Before contacting us, please check that the missing information was provided in the source files in the most recent revision of your paper in Editorial Manager, accepted by the Editor. If the information was not included in your submission to Editorial Manager within the source files, please let us know, and provide the extra information you wish to include in a separate document. Please note that your article will be on hold in production until the additions have been approved by the Editor.
