How can I indicate funding I received if I want to publish gold open access?

Last updated on December 17, 2024

Find out if Elsevier has an agreement with your Institution or funding body by consulting:

  • The Rights and Access form. The corresponding author of the article receives a link to the Rights and Access form via email once the article has been accepted for publication.

Find out more:

  • Check the open access policy of your funding body.
  • Indicate your intention to publish gold open access in the Rights and Access form. Add your and your co-authors’ funding information on the Funders section when you fill in the Rights and Access form.

Please note:

  • If Elsevier doesn't have an agreement with your funding body, we can't provide information on the open access policy of your funding body.
  • You are able to acknowledge your funding body by providing this information in the acknowledgements section of your article and also when completing the Rights and Access form.

You can find further information on the general open access page from our website,  the open access pricing page from our website or consult our Guide to Publishing Open Access.
