We said goodbye to Recordings on the platform

We always want to point our resources in the right direction and keep developing the features our customers love. Sometimes, this will mean reassessing certain offerings of our product. In March 2021, the ability to create Recordings will no longer exist on the platform.

Given the global situation with COVID-19 and the increasing number of customers using external video sharing software for delivering Complete Anatomy Lectures, we made the decision to phase out Recordings.

We have decided to focus on what we do best – delivering a top-class product for learning and teaching 3D anatomy. We have recently launched an enhanced Presentation Mode enhanced Presentation Mode in-app, which greatly improves the overall experience of delivering Lectures on the platform. This includes a streamlined on-screen interface that’s optimized for use with screen sharing software such as Zoom, Camtasia or QuickTime. I have made Recordings in the past, what happens to these?

All Recordings that have previously been made on the platform will be converted to Videos and will be accessible in the VIDEOS section in the Library.

Can I still access recordings made on the platform?

Yes. All the Recordings you were previously able to access will now be viewable as Videos in the VIDEOS section in the Library.
