Complete Anatomy Accessibility Statement
Last updated on September 02, 2025
At Complete Anatomy, we are committed to making our digital product accessible to all users, regardless of physical abilities. As an Elsevier company, we are committed to accessibility enhancements for our Complete Anatomy digital product to align with Elsevier’s Accessibility Policy as it relates to digital products.
Our team is focused on meeting and exceeding the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Version 2.1 level AA standards. We are committed to creating digital products and services that are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, ensuring that users can access and interact with our product effectively.
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure accessibility for all users, we actively monitor and stay informed about any changes or updates to accessibility regulations. We are actively working on aligning the e-commerce elements of the user experience with the latest EAA standards. The scope of this takes registration elements into consideration.
Complete Anatomy is available on the following platforms: macOS, iPad, iPhone, and Android.
Our current VPAT is based on our Windows version. A partial assessment of other platforms has been carried out to give us a full understanding of the areas that require development.
Areas of focus
- Improve Colour Contrast
- Navigate most of the app just using a keyboard
- Listen to most of the app using a screen reader

This accessibility conformance report was last updated in November 2022. An updated VPAT will be completed in 2024.

This architecture will enable us to meet and exceed WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We have identified a phased approach to this project which will allow us to iteratively introduce accessibility enhancements to the benefit of our customers.
