How do I view my results?

# selected

Select the document(s) you would like to ‘limit to’ or ‘export’ by ticking the boxes above the number of the search result.  Once a box is ticked it will be added to the # selected.

Limit To

To limit your results list to certain documents, click ‘Limit to’.

Exclude

To exclude certain documents, click 'Exclude'.

Export

To export documents, click ‘Export’.

Sorting

To change the sort type, click 'Publication Year' and define other sort option: 'Relevance' or 'Document Type'.

Learn more about a specific document

Abstract

If an abstract is available, click ‘Abstract’ to view

Front Page Info

If Front page info is available (patents only), click ‘Front Page Info’ to view

Index Terms

To view the index terms that were used to index an article, click 'Index Terms'. Reaxys contains Author keywords, ReaxysTree index terms, Embase, Geobase, and Engineering index terms.

Substances

To view substances that are indexed from the document, click ‘Substances’.

Reactions

To view reactions that are indexed from the document, click ‘Reactions’.

Full Text

To view the full text of the article, click ‘Full Text’ to be taken to the publisher’s website.

Cited # times

To view the number of times the document is cited, click 'Cited # times'

Druglikeness Icon

On click opens a dialog showing how good the given substance fits to Lipinski and Veber rules.

Find similar

To find similar substances within Reaxys, click 'Options' + 'Find Similar'

View related Markush

To view a related Markush, click 'Options' + 'View related Markush'

View details

To view details such as Identification, Spectra, Physical Data, Bioactivity and Other Data; as well as relevant Preparations, Reactions and Documents - hover over structure, click ‘Options’ + ‘View details’. Click the specific data you’d like to know more about. The data will appear below the structure.

Copy structure to query

To copy a structure to a new Quick search query, hover over the structure and click ‘Options’ + ‘Copy structure to query'

Copy reaction to query

To copy a reaction to a new Quick search query, hover over the structure, click ‘Options’ + ‘Copy reaction to query’

Open in database

To open the structure in a database like eMolecules, LabNetworks or PubChem, hover over the structure, click ‘Options’ + ‘Open in database’

Shopping Cart

To open a dialog box with links to the different vendor websites with pricing and ordering information, hover over the structure and click the ‘Shopping cart’ icon. The following vendors are available: Biovia ACD (available chemicals directory), PerkinElmer ACX, and eMolecules (note: the eMolecules icon is changing frequently to present pricing information of the given substance).

Synthesize Icon

To add the structure to the synthesis planner, click the 'Synthesis planner icon'. From the drop down, select 'Create synthesis plans' to open the retrosynthesis planner.

Find Similar Reactions

To find similar reactions within Reaxys, click ‘Find Similar Reactions’.

To view conditions such as reagents, catalysts and solvents, click the corresponding link.

To view references such as authors, click the corresponding link to display author details in Scopus.

Full Text
