The publish a module for self-enrollment functionality allows you to publish a module to one or more assignment entities and learners simultaneously. For example, you may publish a module to a single facility, two departments, one group and 8 learners. Once published learners can use the self enrollment feature to add items in the module to their lesson plan.

How

Follow these steps to publish a module for self-enrollment:

Facility, Department, or Group

Click the applicable 'Choose' button (e.g. Choose Departments). The Select screen displays.
- If assigning by department, use the 'Facility' menu and 'Department Sort by' fields to locate the department.
Enable the checkbox for each entity to be allowed to self enroll.
Click 'OK'.

Individual learners

Select 'Choose Individuals'. The 'Select users you would like to have added' screen displays.
Choose one of the following learner categories:
- Click the 'Individuals' radio button to choose from learners within your administrative scope.
- Click 'Saved Learners' to choose from learners within your Saved Learner List.
Choose the applicable search criteria (e.g. Last Name, Facility).
Click 'Search'. The 'Select users you would like to have added' screen refreshes displaying learner search results.
Enable the checkbox to the left of each learner to be allowed to self enroll.
Click 'OK'.

Select 'Publish Modules for Self Enrollment' from the eLearning menu selection. The Module to Publish screen displays.
Select the name of the module to be published from either the 'Modules your Department Created' or the 'Modules available to All Facilities' menu selections.
- To edit the properties of the selected module and click the 'Edit' corresponding button.
Select the entities/learners to be allowed to self-enroll in the module:
The Module to Publish screen refreshes displaying the chosen assignment entity or learners.
Repeat the steps above until all entries/learners have been selected.
Click 'Publish'.
The Module to Publish screen refreshes displaying a confirmation message.
