How do I (un)assign announcements to groups or individual learners?

An announcement needs to be assigned to an individual learner or a group of learners to be visible to them.
Below steps are only for announcements that haven't been published yet. Once the announcement has been published, it can't be unassigned anymore.
How
Follow these steps to (un)assign an announcement to a group of learners, or an individual learner:
- Select 'Manage Announcements' from the System menu selections. The Announcements screen displays.
- Locate the announcement to be altered.
- Click on the title link of the announcement in the Announcement column. The Create/Edit Announcement screen displays.
- Scroll down on the Create/Edit Announcement screen and locate the Assignment section.
- Do one of the following to assign announcement:
- To assign to all leaners, enable the 'Make this announcement available to ALL learners' box and go to step 6.
- To assign or un-assign specific learners follow these steps
- Click on the tab that corresponds to the classification of the learners to be assigned the announcement.
- Each tab displays the applicable learner classifications.
- The Learners, Departments, and the Facility Department/Job Code tabs contain search filters to assist you in locating the appropriate learner classification.
- Do one of the following:
- To assign learners, click right arrow keys to move the entries from the Available field to the Selected field.
- To un-assign leaners, Click left the arrow keys to move the entries from the Selected field to the Available field.
- Click 'Save' located below the text editor.
- The Create/Edit Announcement screen refreshes. A confirmation message displays at the top of the screen.
Please Note: Your announcement settings are now saved, however, the announcement is not visible to learners. Publish the announcement to make it visible.
