How do I publish my announcements?

Caution: Publishing an announcement will disable most of the announcement editing options. After publishing the announcement you only will be able to change the Expiration Date and Assign additional learners.  A published non-persistent announcement will remain assigned to learners until it expires or is archived. Similarly, a published persistent announcement will remain visible to a learner until it is archived. 

Follow these steps to publish an announcement:

  1. Select 'Manage Announcements' from the System menu selections.  
  2. The Announcements screen displays. 
  3. Locate the announcement to be published.
  4. Click on the announcement title in the Announcement column. The Create / Edit Announcement screen displays.
  5. Click 'Publish' located below the Text Editor sectionClick 'OK' button on the confirmation window.
