Engineering Village has released a new Accessibility Statement

At Elsevier, accessibility is a key part of how we support researchers, librarians, and students worldwide. We are committed to creating digital experiences that are inclusive and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. Additionally, we are committed to ensuring that our products comply with accessibility regulations worldwide.

Review the EV Accessibility Statement and the EV Accessibility Roadmap to learn about recent accessibility feature improvements and the plans for future enhancements.

Document downloads have increased to 5,000 Documents

Engineering Village has increased the maximum number of documents that can be downloaded from 1,000 to 5,000. Refer to our FAQs regarding the Selected records and Download documents features for more information.

Brazil Patents are now included in Patents Plus

Brazil patents have been added to the Patents Plus database in Engineering Village.

Engineering Village has released Engineering Village AI and Query Builder

Engineering Village AI is an advanced tool that applies artificial intelligence to help you efficiently explore academic research content and receive targeted research summaries and insights. Powered by reliable Compendex curated data, Engineering Village AI strives to simplify the research process, support knowledge discovery, and provide updates on the latest advancements in your areas of study.

Additionally, you can broaden your Engineering Village search queries using the new query builder feature on the Quick Search page. The query builder has been designed to interpret natural language, Boolean expressions, and simple keyword queries. This new feature is a powerful application that uses Engineering Village AI to help you broaden your search queries more efficiently. We are excited to share that this new product feature is in Alpha release. While we are still testing and fine-tuning its core functionality, it is not yet available to everyone. If your institution wants to try it early and share feedback, you may send an email note to our product manager Matt at [email protected].

Patents Plus is an integrated database that currently features patent offices including China, Europe, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). This patent database is enhanced with Compendex subject indexing.
