Will all eligible content be posted?
No. Submissions may be rejected for missing information, failure to meet Research Integrity standards and editorial policies, or non-compliance with our Terms of Use and other guidelines.
Undisclosed substantial AI use and high submission volumes may lead to rejections and account closure. We may decline batch submissions and reserve the right to close accounts at our discretion, without prior notice, if misuse concerns or review workload are significant.
Will SSRN explain why a paper was rejected?
No. Rejection decisions are final. We do not provide individualized reasons for each rejection due to the high volume of submissions we process, and we are not able to share detailed explanations even upon request.
What is SSRN's appeals policy?
SSRN does not reconsider decisions to reject submissions. Where a decision has been made in accordance with SSRN’s posted policies and/or editorial judgment, we are unable to review or respond to appeals. We encourage authors to carefully review our policies prior to submission.
