How do I revise a submission?
Last updated on April 21, 2022
If you want to change only the availability of the paper, and do not want to change the metadata you can modify the status of your paper. If you see 'Restricted by Publisher' next to your submission on your My Papers page, the publisher or journal has restricted the ability for you to revise or edit your PDF.
To revise a submission follow these steps:
- Sign in to SSRN. If you have a paper on SSRN, an account has been created for you. Use the Forgot Password if you are not sure of the password or if you are accessing your account for the first time.
- Click 'My Papers' from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click the 'Revise' button located to the left of the Abstract ID number for that submission.
- Make all desired changes.
- Click 'Submit Revision' .
Changes you made should now be visible on your public abstract page. View the FAQ The New SSRN Revision Process to learn more about how to revise your submission.
