Release notes for February 2023

This release focuses on introducing improvements to the shipping information related to commercially available chemicals. In addition, the Reaxys Medicinal Chemistry (RMC) database has been renamed as Reaxys Target and Bioactivity, covering aprox. 44 million bioactivity datapoints and over 38 thousand biological targets.  

Introducing Reaxys Target and Bioactivity  

Reaxys has the largest collection of target and bioactivity data in the market, available in the database previously known as Reaxys Medicinal Chemistry. With this release, we have updated the name for transparency purposes. If Reaxys Target and Bioactivity is included in your current licence agreement, you will see changes in the user interface as described below.   

1. On the landing page, Reaxys Medicinal Chemistry is renamed Reaxys Target and Bioactivity

   

2. Under the Forms tab on Query Builder, the Reaxys MedChem Forms is renamed as Reaxys Target and Bioactivity Forms

   

3. On the Content Overview page, Reaxys Medicinal Chemistry content is renamed to Reaxys Target and Bioactivity, with ~44 million bioactivity points and ~38 thousand targets.  

   

New Shipping time filter and fact label per product   

Commercially available products will feature shipping times based on vendor information. In order to simplify filtering, the labelling has been normalized based on Tier time definitions (Tier 1= Up to 5 days, Tier 2= Up to 10 days, Tier 3= Up to 4 weeks, Tier 4= Up to 12 weeks, Tier 5= Please contact supplier). You can see the new grouping in the filter [A] and within the product availability table per supplier [B] so its easier for you to determine when a chemical will be available to use.
