How can I draw a reaction or structure?

Reaxys has embedded Marvin JS, a Java-free editor provided by ChemAxon. This tool allows you to create structure and reaction drawings and supports all Reaxys search means.

How

Follow these steps to draw a reaction or structure:

1. Open the structure editor in one of the following ways:

   • From the ‘Quick search’ tab: click ‘Create Structure or Reaction Drawing’.
   • From the ‘Query builder’ tab: click the ‘Structure’ querylet found below the ‘Search’ button. Then click ‘Create Structure / Reaction Drawing’
2. Use the toolbars surrounding the canvas to start drawing.
