Why is the page number missing or incorrect when I import an article to Mendeley Reference Manager?

Many journals have removed issue and page numbers from the articles. Instead they use article numbering as reference.

As a result when you import these articles in your reference manager, such as Mendeley, you will notice that the issue might be missing or incorrect, and the page numbering look different.

This also will require a different method when citing them.
