Why does Mendeley Cite not load my reference in my reference library on a document that I have previously worked on?

This error relates to a Microsoft Office issue and is caused by large or layered images contained within the document. We are currently working with Microsoft to try and fix the error.

If you have any layered/grouped images in your document, we recommend you remove any layering/grouping. You can also compress the sizes of the images found within your document using built in tools within Microsoft Word. Instructions on how to compress the image size can be found here.

Once you have reduced the size of images, restart Mendeley Cite as this should resolve the problem.
