What does Mendeley Cite do?

The Mendeley Cite add-in allows you to insert references from your library as citations into your Word document. You can also insert a bibliography and change your citation style.

You can choose from over 7000+ citation styles to suit your needs, as well as edit your citations to provide further details when citing. Mendeley Cite works with your Mendeley cloud library so as long as you have synced your library to the cloud you can use Mendeley Cite without having Mendeley Desktop open or even installed. You can also use Mendeley Cite if you only use Mendeley Web Library.
