What browsers and operating systems are supported for Mendeley products?

The Qt project is very generic and says "Linux (32/64-bit)GCC 4.8.1, GCC 4.9.1". We are testing Mendeley Desktop on Debian and Ubuntu. The generic Linux package should work with almost any distribution but we can't test all of them. We might include a possible fix in future versions.
Even if an OS is not supported, Mendeley Desktop might still operate to a satisfactory level on it however we might not be able to offer full support or fixes for any issues.
At the moment Mendeley Desktop isn’t supported in MacOS 10.15 Catalina or MacOS 11 Big Sur.

- Chrome
- Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari
Even if a browser is not supported, Mendeley Reference Manager on the web might still operate to a satisfactory level on it, however we do not offer full support or fixes for issues on other browsers.
JavaScript and cookies must be enabled.
Mendeley Desktop Citation plug-in
Microsoft Office
- MacOS: Microsoft Word 2016.
- Windows: Microsoft 2010, 2013 and 2016.
The Mendeley Desktop Word plugin is not officially supported with click-to-run versions of Microsoft Word, and we cannot offer support for any issues experienced using these versions.
Libre Office
- Linux: same version as packaged by the supported Debian/Ubuntu
- MacOS: LibreOffice 5
- Windows: LibreOffice 5
Mendeley Cite
- Windows: Word 2016, Word 2019, Office 365
- MacOS: Word 2016, Word 2019, Office 365
- iOS: Microsoft Word for iPad
- Web Versions: Word Online, Office 365
