How is the usage data of researchers used in Mendeley Institutional Edition?
Last updated on March 17, 2025
As a member of your institution's Mendeley Institutional Edition (MIE) group, your Mendeley readership, publication and group data will contribute to the aggregated analytics statistics of your institution.
All the data is anonymous, so no activity can be traced back to individual Mendeley members. Mendeley uses the aggregated data to produce analytics such as showing most read journals in the institution and the publications within the institution with the most impact.
