How do I sign out of Mendeley Cite having used it on a shared computer?

When signing into Mendeley Cite using your Elsevier account, you are prompted with a check-box which states 'Stay signed in (not recommended for shared devices)'. If you are using a shared machine and do not wish to stay signed in, we recommend unchecking this box.
The behavior of your session will vary depending on which device and how you are accessing Mendeley Cite, below is an explanation:
Windows Word for Desktop: To log out of your Mendeley account, you will need to close down all instances of Word to end your session.
Word for Mac: To log out of your Mendeley account, you will need to close the Mendeley Cite add-in to end your session.
Word Online or Office 365 Web: To log out of your Mendeley account, you will need to close down all instances of your browser to end your session.
