Does Mendeley Cite work offline?

Currently Mendeley Cite does not work offline.

This is the case for all Microsoft Add-ins. Microsoft requires a connection to the internet to access applications downloaded from the AppSource store. You will also require an internet connection if you are signing in to Mendeley Cite for the first time.

Once the above actions have been completed, the majority of core functionality will work without a live internet connection, until you close the application down again.
