How do I set individual lesson properties?

Please Note: Licensed training items are eLearning Lessons, Skills, Policies, Linked Content, Discussions, or Knowledge Manager Checklist.

Follow these steps to set individual lesson properties:

  1. Access the module editing functionality in one of the following ways:
    • Select 'Edit Existing Module' from the eLearning menu selections.
    • Click the 'Edit a Module' link in the Quick Links section of the Personal Page. The Edit Module screen displays
  2. Select the module name from the Current Modules menu choices.
  3. Click 'Select Module' button. The Edit Module screen refreshes displaying the selected module properties.
  4. Click 'Assignable Items'.

    Please Note: Modifications to the individual lesson properties will supersede the overall Module Lesson properties.

  5. Click the 'Edit' link that corresponds to the lesson to be edited. The Edit Module screen refreshes displaying the fields for the selected item available for editing.
  6. Modify the appropriate properties Item properties:
    • Enter the number of days the learner has to complete all lessons in the Complete Days
    • Use the calendar functionality of the Due Date field to select a specific lesson completion date.
    • Select the order in which the lessons should appear in the learner’s lesson plan from the Priority menu choices.
    • Enable the Test Reqd checkbox to require a test.
    • Enable the Checklist Reqd checkbox to require a checklist.
    • Enable the Randomize checkbox to have text questions appear in random order. 
    • Enter the number of questions appear on the lesson test in the Test Bank Deliver This entry must not exceed the maximum number indicated in the Text Bank Size field.
  7. Click 'Update'. The Edit Module screen refreshes displaying the changes.
