How do I delete a group?

Please Note: Groups with learners assigned cannot be deleted. To delete a group that has learners assigned you must first remove all the assigned learners.

Follow these steps to delete a group:

1. Select 'Manage Groups' from the System menu choices. The Manage Groups screen displays.
2. Locate the name of the group to be deleted in the grid on the Manage Groups screen.
3. Click the 'Delete Icon' link that corresponds to the group to be deleted.
4. The Manage Groups screen refreshes. A confirmation message displays at the top of the screen.  
5. Continue the process based upon the confirmation message displayed:

   • A green confirmation message indicates that the group has been removed, and you are not required to do anything else.
   • A red confirmation message indicates that the group cannot be deleted until you remove all learners from the group. Remove the learners from the group and then restart the deletion process.
