How do I view Compendex references?
Last updated on November 23, 2024
The Compendex references refer to information used to publish a Compendex document. These references display on the ‘Compendex References’ tab on the left side of the record page.
How
Click a section below to see further instructions:
- Conduct a Compendex search using either the Quick or Expert search forms. The Document results list displays.
- Click a document's title to view the document. The Compendex record page opens.
- From the left side of the page, click ‘Compendex references.’ The total number of Compendex references for this document displays in a bubble next to the link. The ‘Compendex references’ accordion section opens for display on the record page.
Note: Not all Compendex documents have Compendex references.
The Compendex references contain the following information (as available):
- document title
- author name(s)
- source title
- volume
- issue (signified by "n" for "number")
- page(s)
- publication year
Note: References listed on the ‘Compendex references’ page may not contain complete publishing information.
