How do I find similar documents in Scopus?

Scopus provides a Similar documents function whenever you are viewing a list of document results, or are viewing a document details page. Similar documents may be sought from the following Scopus pages:
- Document search results
- Document details
- Author details- Documents, Cited by documents, and co-authors
Note: If the 'Similar documents' box does not appear, or 'Similar documents' does not appear in a results list item for a document, it means that no similar documents based on authors, keywords, or references are available.

To find Similar documents from Document search results
- Conduct a Document search. The Document search results page opens.
- From the Document search results, hover over a document list item and click 'Similar documents'. A Document search results page opens listing the similar documents to the original document.
To find Similar documents from Document details
To find Similar documents from Author details
From an Author details page, do one of the following:
- Click 'Documents' and then click 'Similar documents' for a list item. A results list opens based on similar documents.
- Click 'Cited by' and then click 'Similar documents' for a list item. A results list opens based on similar documents.
- Click 'co-authors' and then click a number representing the number of documents that the co-author has contributed to publishing. A results list opens.
- From the results list, locate a document and click 'Similar documents'. A results list opens based on similar documents.
