Rankings metric: Field-Weighted Citation Impact - 5 years (THE)

Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI 5Y) of the publications considered in the THE World University Rankings. It is distinct from the FWCI used elsewhere in SciVal in that it is based on a 5-year time window rather than a 4-year time window. The metric is used to calculate the Citation Impact Score (THE).

The 75th percentile value of the metric is used as the basis for the Research Strength Score calculation.
