From the search results page, you can view:

Number of records retrieved – Located at the top center/left of the results page. (One record represents one instance where the search criteria were met. Several records can appear in the same document).

Hyperlinked query string – Located at the top and to the right of the number of records retrieved. This displays your query, including Boolean operators. Click on any part of the query string to return to the query.

Query Details – A QUERY DETAILS link is displayed to the right of the hyperlinked query string whenever you conduct a Quick Search or an Advanced Search (found by clicking the Search drop-down menu). Clicking the link will display your editable query, including Boolean operators and synonyms (be sure to check the Include Synonyms check box in the query if you want to use this option).

Filters – Click Show Filters on the left side of the Results page. Select filters and then click Apply.

Show/Hide Columns – Located in the top right side of the Results page. Clicking this button displays all available column headers and allows you to check or uncheck boxes to select your preferred columns.

Show Drugs in – This button enables you to do 2 things:

  1. Export the complete list of drug names in your results to Excel (click the blue hyperlink at the top of the options box.)
  2. Link to other PharmaPendium modules (may require an additional license) by clicking one of the links displayed at the bottom of the options box. Before linking, you can select the drugs you are interested in from the list of drugs displayed in the options box. Click the back arrow to return to original results.

Export - Click the Export button, select the columns you want to export by checking or unchecking the appropriate boxes, and then click on your preferred file type. If you would like to only export a list of drug names, click the Show Drugs in button and select Export all drugs in Excel file.

Drug Names–Drug names are hyperlinked in the results and clicking will take you to the PharmaPendium page for that drug.

Documents - Links to PDF original documents can be found in the Source column. Usually 2 links are displayed: a link to the specific data on a specific page in a document and a View Full Study link which will display a listing of all results and documents for that study.

Chemical Structure - Displays a chemical structure (if the Chemical Structure box is checked after clicking the Show/Hide Columns button. Clicking the displayed structure will open the structure drawing tool for editing.

Column Headers – Clicking on most column headers will offer options for sorting and pinning. The Pinning option allows you to move a column to the left side of the page thus letting you see your chosen columns at once.
