How do I search using synonyms?

PharmaPendium allows you to retrieve synonyms and view them automatically when you use the Quick Search or Advanced Search.

1. Type into the Quick Search box or select Advanced Search from the Search drop-down menu.
2. Check the "Include synonyms" checkbox.
3. Click the Expand query drop down button from the Results page to view the query that contains the query with synonyms.

You can edit the query by clicking on the pencil icon on the Results page. If the search was done through Quick search text, then the user will be redirected to Quick search bar on the home page. If the search was done through Advanced search, then the user will be redirected to Advanced text search page.
