How do I conduct a Safety Data Search?
Last updated on September 10, 2025The Safety Data search form allows you to conduct a complex search combining data from different databases.
To conduct a Safety Data search:
- Click the Drug Safety Data button.
- Click one of the following options on the left-hand pane:
- Add Drugs or Drug classes
- Add Drugs by Primary Target or Primary Target Class
- Select the desired drugs or classes. Selections appear on the right. Click Done.
- Select Adverse Effects\Toxicity, Species, and Sources if needed.
- Click Done. Click Search.

You can also use Boolean Operators for your drug safety data search. For example to ask questions like "Show me all the approved antineoplastic drugs where Cardiac arrhythmia and changes in red blood cell numbers were observed preclinical".
