Can I access PharmaPendium data via an API?
Last updated on September 26, 2018PharmaPendium supports the retrieval of drug safety, pharmacokinetic, metabolising enzyme and transporter, efficacy, chemistry and activity data through an application programming interface (API). The PharmaPendium API supports workflows that allow integration of PharmaPendium data into existing processes and with other data sources, generating additional insights to inform drug development decisions.
Example use cases include:
Example use cases include:
- Determining the likelihood of a preclinical toxicology event translating to the clinic: retrieve and analyse drug safety data across preclinical, clinical and post-market studies and reports
- Comparing internally generated exposure data with marketed drugs: compare with pharmacokinetic data on drugs sharing similarity in drug class, chemical structure, targets, etc.
- Better anticipating drug-drug interactions: retrieve metabolising enzyme & transporter data on DDI studies that have been tested, including positive and negative interaction results
- Identify drug repurposing opportunities: search efficacy data on drugs similar to the drug candidate for information on all endpoints tested for an indication
Acces to PharmaPendium is set up on a case-by-case basis. API access can be added to your PharmaPendium subscription. Contact your local representative or request more information here
