What is Knovel Interactive Equations?

Knovel Interactive Equations is a web-based tool that allows you to:

• Browse collections of practical equations and worked examples.
• Create a worksheet from scratch by combining text, math, images, and plots. Have easy one-click access to a toolbox containing math functions, engineering units, programming structures, and math symbols used in engineering formulas.
• Use the built-in Equation Solver to create and edit worksheets. You can then export worksheets to various formats including Knovel Worksheet, pdf, Mathcad or HTML format.
• Save your custom worksheets to My Knovel for future use or to collaborate with colleagues
• In Knovel Interactive Equations you can also find the Knovel Solver, a browser-based calculation software, emulating an engineering notebook, for online calculation and saving of worksheets for reuse and sharing.

Access to equations is determined by which Knovel subject areas your organization subscribes to. A lock icon next to a worksheet listing denotes that it’s in a subject area outside your subscription. A collection of Sample Equations is free to all Knovel registered users and all Knovel customers.
