How do I share content?

Follow these steps to email a saved item:

1. From either ‘Unfiled Items’ or from a specific folder, hover your mouse over the hyperlink of the item you want to email.
2. Click the ‘Email this item’ icon.
3. In the pop-up window, enter the recipient(s)’ email address(es).

   • Separate multiple email addresses with a comma.
4. Optional: Enter a message you’d like to appear with your item.
5. Click ‘Send email’.

Follow these steps to share a folder with other Knovel User(s):

1. Select the Folder to share.
2. Click ‘Share Folder' in the upper right.
3. In the pop-up window:

   • Enter the email address(es) of Users for Read Only Access
   • Enter the email address(es) of Users for Full Access
   • Enter a message you’d like to appear with your item
4. Click ‘Invite Users’. Each invited user will receive an email informing them that you want to share Knovel data with them.

Follow these steps to share a folder via a shareable link with other Knovel User(s):

1. From My Knovel, select the Folder to share.
2. Click 'Share Folder' in the upper right.
3. In the pop-up window:

   • Click 'Copy to Clipboard' at the bottom of the panel to copy a shareable link that you can share with other Knovel Users.
4. Send the link to others via email, chat, etc. When they follow the link, the folder will be added to their list of Shared Folders within My Knovel.

Follow these steps to share a folder via a shareable link with other Knovel User(s):

1. From within the My Folder panel, select the Folder to share.
2. Click 'Copy Shareable Link' at the bottom of the panel.
3. Send the link to others via email, chat, etc. When they follow the link, the folder will be added to their list of Shared Folders within My Knovel.
