How do I receive MARC records for my Knovel subscription?

Before you begin, you must have an collection manager account with OCLC, which is done by submitting the OCLC request form.

Once a collection manager account is set up, finish your OCLC account set up by following these steps found on the OCLC help pages:

• Configure institution settings for knowledge base collections
• Configure institution MARC Records settings for knowledge base collections
• Enable record delivery in your collection
• Download files in My Files

How

1. Contact Knovel Support and request an entitlement token for OCLC for Knovel products.
2. Contact OCLC Support with the following message. Replace the [xxx] with your information:

    

   Please load my Knovel titles.

   My OCLC symbol is [xxx]
   My OCLC registry ID is [xxx]
   My token from Knovel is [xxx]

    

3. After this initial set up, an email will be sent when your MARC record files are ready. Initially, a one-time update of all MARC records will be provided. Updates will be provided on the schedule set in your OCLC account.
