Last updated on October 09, 2023Server Specifications
These are the server specifications recommended to support GSDD application:
- Processor: Intel® Xeon® CPU ES-2686 v4 @ 2.30 GHz
- Installed memory: 16.0 GB
- Disk Space: 200 GB
- Volume Type: AWS General Purpose (SSD) [gp2]
Operating Systems
GSDD is designed for multiple platforms. Once installed, the Web Service can be called from any operating system.
GSDD is currently complied for the following operating systems:
Windows:
- Windows Server 2019 and above
- Windows 10
Note: The GSDD Windows Service requires the .Net Framework Version 2.0 or higher.
Linux:
- Debian
- RHEL
Note: the GSDD installation package file on the SFTP site identifies the minimum Linux OS version(s) supported.
Package/RPM Requirements
GSDD is a 64bit application on both Windows and Linux.
Storage/Space Requirements
The overall storage requirements are the same for all platforms (Windows and Linux). In general, you should allow at least 105 GB at at minimum.
Updates
- During the Updater process, the updater makes a copy of the data file, downloads an update patch for that data file, then applies those changes to the data file copy. When complete, the original data file is replaced with the updated copy.
- You need to allow space for the data file copeis, update patch file, and journaling files created as the update patch is applied. Patch file sizes ranges from a few KB to 250 MB on average, depending on update frequency (the longer between updates, the larger the patch file).
- Approximate size: 35 GB
