How do I find the version number of the GSDD product I am using?

Last updated on October 09, 2023

Option 1: Check the GSDDUpdate.log File (recommended for all platforms)

Open the GSDDUpdate.log file, located within your GSDD application path folder. The version string prints in the log file during each update. Scroll to the bottom of the log file to the latest entry, which will show the current version of GSDD.

Option 2: Use the Exporter or Updater Usage Info Flag (/?) (all platforms)

  1. From a COMMAND line, navigate to your GSDD application path folder (such as GSDD5).
  2. Type one of the following at the COMMAND prompt:
    • GSDDUpdate/?
    • GSDDExport/?
  3. Press "ENTER". The version displays at the beginning of the usage information.

Options 3 (Windows) Check the Programs and Feature Window

  1. Go to the Control Panel and open the Programs and Features window.
  2. Locate the "Gold Standard Drug Database" listing on the Programs and Features window. Your GSDD version displays in the Version column.
