Is the Funding Institutional search engine different from other Elsevier search tools such as Scopus?
Last updated on November 16, 2023
The Funding Institutional search engine is unlike the search engine used to power Scopus or ScienceDirect.
Here are some search tips for more successful searching:
- Search term order does not matter.
- The default search connector is OR. However, AND can also be used to narrow the search.
- Use double quotation marks to search on a phrase, e.g., "breast cancer".
- When searching for a singular term, the plural and possessive treatments are also searched, i.e., searching disease will also search diseases.
- The wildcard '*', can be used to search truncated terms, e.g., Alzheimer*.
