How do I delete an unpublished announcement?

- Select 'Manage Announcements' from the System menu selections. The Announcements screen displays.
- Locate the announcement to be deleted.
- Locate the corresponding numeric entry for the announcement in the Active column.
Note: The Active column entry indicates the number of learners assigned the announcement. You must un-assign the learners before you can delete the announcement.
- Click on the title link of the announcement in the Announcement column. The Create/Edit Announcement screen displays.
- Locate the Assignment section of the Create/Edit Announcement screen.
- Click the arrow key to move the entries from the Selected field to the Available field.
- All the learners are removed from the Selected field.
- Click on each of the remaining tabs and repeat the steps above until all assignments have been removed.
- Click 'Update' located below the text editor.
- The confirmation messages displays at the top of the Create/Edit Announcement screen.
- Click 'Return to Announcements List' located in the upper and lower right-hand corners of the Create/Edit Announcement screen. The Announcements screen displays.
- Locate the announcement to be deleted.
- Click on the 'Delete' link that corresponds to the announcement to be deleted.
- Click 'OK' on the confirmation screen.
- The Announcements screen refreshes. The deleted announcement is no longer displayed.
