How do I create a module?

Follow these steps to create a module:

  1. Access module creation in one of the following ways:
    • Select 'Create an Assignable Module' from the eLearning menu choices.
    • Click the 'Create a Module' link in the Quick Links section of the Personal Page.  
  2. The Manage Assignable Item Queue screen displays.
  3. Ensure the Saved Items Queue contains the lesson/skills to be added to the module. .
  4. Once you have added all lessons and skills required, click the 'OK' button on the confirmation pop-up. 
  5. The Manage Assignable Item Queue screen refreshes displaying the changes in the Your Saved Item Queue section.
  6. Click 'Create a New Module'
  7. Enter the name of your new module in the 'New Module Name' field.
  8. Enable the 'Make it Global' checkbox to make this module available to all administrators.
  9. Enable the checkbox to the left of the names of the lessons/skills to be added to the module.
    • Press and hold down the <Shift>key to sequentially select lessons. You may also click the 'Select All' checkbox located to the left of the Lesson Name column header.
    • Click the 'Create Module' button. 
    • The Create a New Module screen refreshes a confirmation message displays at the top of the screen.
