How do I (de)activate a skill?

Follow these steps to (de)activate a skill:

1. Select 'Add/Edit Skills' from the Skills menu selections.
2. The Skills Content Management screen displays.
3. Locate the skill as detailed in the "Locating a Skill" section.
4. Choose to:

   • Deactivate an active skill: Click the 'Active' link corresponding to the skill.
   • Activate an inactive skill: Click the 'Inactive' link corresponding to the skill.
5. The Confirmation screen displays.  
6. Click 'OK'. 

After completing these steps:

• The confirmation screen closes.
• The Skills Search screen refreshes.
• A confirmation message displays at the top of the screen.
• The skill’s new status displays in the Status.
