What are the download limits?

In Engineering Village, there are many methods for selecting and downloading information from documents and facets for your future research. The various types of downloads have different limits.
How
Click the following sections to learn how to access various document download features.
Use the Selected records feature to select individual or multiple documents in the result set. You can select up to the first 1,000 documents at a time (if available).
Note: If you decide to select the first 1,000 records for download, your download location and download format will be limited when downloading 501 to 1,000 records.
You may download documents by clicking the download icon to access the ‘one-click’ download feature or the down arrow located to the right of the download icon from any of the following three different sources within Engineering Village:
- Search results list
- Selected records results list
- Folders results list
You may save documents from the Search results or Selected records pages to a new or existing folder. You can create a maximum of 10 folders with each containing a maximum of 100 documents.
You may set your document download preferences from the ‘Download’ tab of the ‘My preferences’ page to maintain your settings for future search sessions.
You may download the categories of information displayed in the facets from three different places in the ‘Refine results’ pane:
- Individual (current view) and ‘View more’ links from each facet
- Use these features to download a maximum of 160 items (if available) in .csv (comma-separated values) format for the individual facet
- ‘Download all’ link
- Use this feature to download all items from all the facets at one time
- A maximum of 160 items (as available) per facet will be downloaded in .csv format
