How do I modify my personal details, settings, and preferences?

You may modify your personal details, settings, and preferences for your Engineering Village account. You must have created an account and be signed in to modify these settings.

Follow these steps to modify your personal details and preferences:

1. Click the user profile menu icon located at the top right side of the page. The user profile menu opens.
2. From the menu dropdown, select from the following options:

   • My preferences - View, edit, and save Engineering Village search, results, download, and research profile preferences.
   • Personal details - Change or add information to your personal details and contact information entered during your account creation.
   • Alerts & saved searches - View, rerun, modify, delete, or share saved searches. Create, edit, or delete email alerts from your saved searches.
   • Privacy center - Access and review the privacy options for your Elsevier account on the Privacy Center website.
3. Enter your changes and follow screen prompts as appropriate for the specific page you are using.
