How do I create an account with Engineering Village?

Creating an account gives you greater control over your searches in Engineering Village. You will be able to save searches and documents, as well as receive weekly email alerts to stay on top of the latest research.

Follow these steps to create an account:

1. Click ‘Create account’ at the top of any Engineering Village page. The ‘Create account’ pop-up window opens. If the pop-up window does not appear, disable any pop-up blockers on your browser and try again.
2. Enter your email address. A notification message opens on your screen which tells you to check your email inbox for an email which will allow you to enter a password for your new Engineering Village account.
3. Locate the email note from Elsevier in your email inbox.
4. Click ‘Add A Password’ or click the link in the email note. The ‘Elsevier Register’ pop-up window opens on your screen and is pre-populated with the email address you provided.
5. Enter your first name, surname, and password into the appropriate rows on the pop-up window.
6. Click ‘Register.’ A notification message opens that states that you now have an Elsevier account.
7. Click the ‘Continue’ button to access Engineering Village.
